Dr. John Drumm

Dr. Drumm received his D.M.D. (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and a Chemistry degree at Bucknell University, in Lewisburg, PA.

He was a U.S. Navy Lieutenant, dental corps, at the Naval Training Center in Orlando, Fl.

For 25 years, he maintained a private dental practice on Tunlaw Road in Glover Park before moving one mile to Foxhall Square. He had been the staff dentist at the National Lutheran Home in Rockville, MD for the past 25 years.


Dr. Drumm is a Past President of the District of Columbia Dental Society and is the chairman of the DCDS Well being Program. He served on the Council on Dental Practice of the American Dental Association and was chairman of the ADA’s Dentist Well Being Advisory Committee.

He is the President of the District of Columbia Academy of General Dentistry, and serves on the AGD’s Dental Care Council and Annual Meetings Committee.

Dr. Drumm is an active member of the American Dental Association, the District of Columbia Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, the Pierre Fauchard Academyand the Academy of Dentistry International. He received the Humanitarian of the Year award from the DC Dental Society in 2006.
